Spencer killed 53-year-old principal Burton Wragg and 56-year-old custodian Mike Suchar and wounded 9 children. After firing thirty rounds of ammunition, Spencer barricaded herself inside her home for several hours before surrendering. During the siege she had a telephone conversation with a journalist who reported that she had said "I don't like Mondays".

 Doctor and serial killer Gerd Wenzinger aka The Havel Ripper commits suicide hanging in his cell at the age of 54 in Salvador, Bahia, Brazil. Wenzinger was facing charges for killing 13 prostitutes in Berlin and Stuttgart, and sexually torturing many more in Germany and Brazil. |
