Stevenson was dragged from her house, raped and lynched because her son was suspected of the arson of Gabe Frank’s barn. The gruesomely scene was witnessed by thousands and thousands of passengers who traveled in and out of the city the next morning. Stevenson's body was left hanging until Friday morning.

Stefania Pettini and her 19-year-old lover Pasquale Gentilcore is shot dead and violated by unidentified serial killer Il Mostro di Firenze at the age of 18 in Borgo Santa Lucia, Napoli, Campania, Italy.

Pettini and Gentilcore were shot and stabbed while having sex in Gentilcore's Fiat 127. Pettini's corpse had been violated with a grapevine stalk and disfigured with 97 stab-wounds.
