Maria Gomółka is beaten to death by serial killer Zdzisław Marchwicki aka The Zagłębie Vampire at the age of 55 in Będzin, Województwo Sląskie, Poland.

On the same day Marchwicki also attacked Julianna Kozierska, she survived.
