Dancer Isadora Angela Duncan aka The Mother of Modern Dance dies of strangulation and carotid artery insult at the age of 49 in Promenade des Anglais, Nice, Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur, France. Duncan's long shawl got tangled in the wheel of the Amilcar GS driven by her mechanic Benoît Falchetto.
