Francis X. McDonnell is abducted, sexually assaulted and strangled by serial killer, child rapist and cannibal Albert Fish aka The Cannibal aka The Werewolf of Wysteria aka The Moon Maniac at the age of 8 in Staten Island, New York, New York, United States.

McDonnell's body was found by three Scouts hanging from a tree with extensive lacerations to his legs and abdomen and his left hamstring had almost entirely been stripped of its flesh.
