Before Saari shot and killed ten people with a Walther P22 semi-automatic pistol, doused a classroom with petrol and set it on fire. At some point he also threw a Molotov cocktail into a language laboratory. Saari fired a total of nearly 200 shots. The highest number of shots inflicted to a single victim was twenty. Saari left behind two handwritten notes in his school dormitory stating that his motive for the shooting was "I hate the human race".

22-year-old murderer and cannibal Stanley Dean Baker is arrested with Harry Allen Stroup carrying in his pocket the fingers of 22-year-old James Schlosser, whom he killed, cut out the heart and ate it in Big Sur, California, United States. Baker had both a recipe for LSD and a copy of The Satanic Bible in his possession. He readily confessed involvement in the accident, startling police as he added "I have a problem. I'm a cannibal." |
