 Army veteran and suicide pilot Frank Eugene Corder commits suicide by an airplane crash at the age of 38 in South Lawn of the White House, Washington, District of Columbia, United States.  Corder stole a Cessna 150 the night before and departed from Aldino Airport in Maryland while severely intoxicated, which is presumed to have led to his later miscalculation to crash into the South Lawn instead of the White House itself. |
