Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat born as Mohammed Yasser Abdel Rahman Abdel Raouf Arafat al-Qudwa dies of a massive hemorrhagic cerebrovascular accident at the age of 75 in Hôpital d'instruction des Armées Percy, Clamart, Île-de-France, France. Numerous theories have appeared regarding Arafat's death, with the most prominent being poisoning by polonium and AIDS-related illnesses, as well as liver disease or a platelet disorder.
