Mass murderer William Beadle commits suicide by a shot through the head at the age of 52 in Wethersfield, Connecticut, United States. Earlier that day Beadle slit the throats of his 32-year-old wife Lydia and his children, 11-year-old Ansel Lothrop, 10-year-old Elizabeth, 8-year-old Lydia and 6-year-old Mary.
