On 20 April 1934 John Dillinger's gang, consisting of Dillinger, Baby Face Nelson, Homer Van Meter, Tommy Carroll, and John "Red" Hamilton settled at Little Bohemia Lodge after Dillinger's escape from the jail in Crown Point, Indiana on 3 March 1934. They were tracked down by FBI agents Melvin Purvis, W. Carter Baum and Jay Newman among others.

 52-year-old serial killer Arthur Shawcross aka The Genesee River Killer marries his long time sweetheart Clara Neal in the visiting room in Sullivan Correctional Facility, Fallsburg, New York, United States. Shawcross used Neal's car to pick up, have sex with, and then kill his victims. According to the institution's policy, the newlyweds will be able to enjoy conjugal visits. |
