After indulging in a drinking binge, 30-year-old king Dipendra of Nepal, originally Dipendra Bir Bikram Shah Dev kills his father King Birendra, his mother Queen Aishwarya, his brother Prince Nirajan, Princess Shruti, Prince Dhirendra, Princess Shanti, Princess Sharada, Kumar Khadga and Princess Jayanti, before shooting himself in the head in Narayanhity Royal Palace, Kathmandu, Bagmati, Nepal.
