In three hours time Mateen shot and killed 49 people and wounded another 58 with a SIG Sauer MCX semi-automatic rifle and a 9mm Glock 17 semi-automatic pistol during a 'Latin Night'. At 2:45 a.m., Mateen called News 13 of Orlando and said "I'm the shooter. It's me. I am the shooter." He then said he was carrying out the shooting on the behalf of ISIS and began speaking rapidly in Arabic.

81 Die in Middle East Airlines Flight 438 Boeing 720B bomb explosion in Al Qaysumah, Ash Sharqiyah, Saudi Arabia. According to several reports the bomb was planted on board by Omani militants but they were never identified. More info: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Middle_East_Airlines_Flight_438
