Nordlund's plan was to rob and kill as many people as possible on the ship and steal the ship's register. To avoid early detection he also planned to torch the ship. This plan failed because scared passengers on the boat managed to attract the attention of the Köping ferry.

 Präsident der Treuhandanstalt Detlev Karsten Rohwedder is shot and killed through a window on the first floor of his house by the Rote Armee Fraktion Kommando Ulrich Wessel at the age of 59 in Kaiser-Friedrich-Ring 71, Niederkassel, Düsseldorf, Nordrhein-Westfalen, Germany. In 2001 a DNA analysis found that hair strands from the crime scene belonged to RAF member Wolfgang Grams. |
