Birth(+)Fact(x)Death(-) Calendar
Parker was placed in quarantaine in the Catherine-de-Barnes Isolation Hospital near Solihull on 20 August and died there on 11 September. Many people had close contact with Parker before she was admitted to hospital, 260 people were being immediately quarantined. Parker became the last person to die of smallpox.

The Eyes Have It

My sculpture 'The Beast of Jersey', consisting of a wooden box with two large chicken feet jerking in and out randomly on two metal rods connected to an electric motor inside. It dates from the late 1980's and was still alive and kicking in an exhibition in Paleis voor Schone Kunsten, Brussel, Brabant, Belgium
