All the patients, mostly depressed young women, were severely sedated and locked up behind barred windows. 30 patients were heavily burned. The fire started when a nurse, who also died in the disaster, helped escape a patient who set fire to solitary confinement room 22 and forgot to close the door. (25 June 1993)

Saturday 10th of July 1976 (x) — Approximately six tonnes of chemicals including the poisonous TCDD are released during an industrial accident. Within days a total of 3.300 animals, mostly poultry and rabbits, were found dead. 1.600 people of all ages had been examined and 447 were found to suffer from skin lesions or chloracne.
