35-year-old mass murderer Colin Ferguson aka The Long Island Rail Road Shooter pulls out a Ruger P89 9mm pistol and starts firing at other passengers, killing six people and wounding nineteen others before being stopped by three of the passengers in Merillon Avenue Station, Long Island, New York, United States. Six passengers died from their injuries: 27-year-old Amy Federici, 51-year-old James Gorycki, 30-year-old Maria Theresa Tumangan Magtoto, 52-year-old Dennis McCarthy, 24-year-old Richard Nettleton and 27-year-old Mi Kyung Kim.
