Cop killer Günther Fritz Erwin Podola aka Mike Colato is executed by hanging by Harry Allen at the age of 30 in Wandsworth Prison, Wandsworth, London, Greater London, United Kingdom. Podola shot Detective Sergeant Raymond Purdy through the heart with a Radom 9mm semi-automatic pistol when he tried to arrest him on 12 July 1959 in Kensington.
