Presumed triple murderer Cameron Todd Willingham is executed by lethal injection at the age of 36 in Huntsville Prison, 815 12th Street, Huntsville, Texas, United States. Willingham was convicted and executed for the murder of his three young children 2-year-old Amber Louise and 1-year-old twins Karmon Diane and Kameron Marie by arson at the family home in Corsicana, Texas on 23 December 1991. Since his execution significant controversy has arisen over the interpretation of the evidence that was used to convict him of arson and murder.
