Actor Peter Arne born as Peter Randolph Michael Albrecht is beaten to death at the age of 65 in Knightsbridge, London, Greater London, United Kingdom. Several days later the body of presumed murderer and tramp Giuseppe Perusi was found drowned in the Thames. Inquiries revealed Arne had been giving food to the Italian schoolteacher who had been living rough in a local park.
