Michelle Korfman is abducted, sexually assaulted and tortured by serial killer Christopher Wilder aka The Beauty Queen Killer at the age of 17 in Meadows Mall, 4300 Meadows Ln, Las Vegas, Nevada, United States.

Korfman remained undiscovered near a southern California roadside rest stop until 11 May, although she lay unclaimed until mid-June in a Los Angeles morgue as Jane Doe #39 until being identified via dental X-rays.
